Let Freedom Ring

On July 2, 1776, a group of brave patriots gathered in Philadelphia to voice their frustrations with tyranny and injustice.  Two days later, the document was publicly read and The United States of America declared its independence.  235 years later Kern, his parents, and I spent the day in this historic city and celebrated our Nation's birthday.

The Liberty Bell.  A national symbol of freedom.

Independence Hall, where the Declaration was deliberated and signed.

You can't go to Philly and not see the Rocky Statue.  He defeated Ivan Drago and crushed Communism.  Yo Adrian!

Geno's Steaks in South Philly.  A must stop...

...and across the street, their rival, Pat's.  We sampled both, and they were Independently wonderful.
